How to Replace the Speakers in a BMW 1 Series

Replacing the speaker in a BMW 1 Series model E87 begins with purchasing the rainbow C8.3 kit for BMW. The first step is to remove the front right door panel. To do this, first remove the Torx screws securing it, located at the top and bottom, and then use trim tools to remove the plastic parts. At this point, disconnect the connector to completely remove the panel. Once the panel is removed, you can take out the speaker from its location by unscrewing the four screws. After removing the old speaker, promptly install the new one. To replace the tweeter, you will need to remove the triangular cover and unclip the old unit to insert the new one. Once both have been replaced, you can reattach the panel.
