Replacing the speaker of a BMW 1 Series model E87 starts with purchasing the rainbow C8.3 kit for BMW. The first thing to do is to remove the front right door panel. To do this, simply remove the Torx screws that hold it in place, located at the bottom and top, and then remove the plastic parts with levers. At that point, simply disconnect the connector to completely remove the panel. Once the panel is removed, you can remove the speaker from its housing by removing the four screws. Once removed, promptly install the new one. To replace the tweeter, you will need to remove the triangular cover and unhook the old model to install the new one. Once both are replaced, you can reassemble the panel.

First you have to insert the key and turn on the car ignition without starting the engine as well. Then turn on the car radio and press the "Menu" button.
