To replace the handbrake actuator on the BMW X5, open the rear hatch and then detach the panel on the left side of the trunk: once this panel is removed, you will be able to locate the handbrake module underneath, which must be removed from its housing by loosening the screws of its supports and disconnecting the connectors.

At this point, insert the new module into its housing, securing it and connecting it properly to ensure everything functions correctly again.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?
