Disconnect and open the trunk lid at the back. This gives you direct access to the area behind the headlight in question. Whether it's the right or left side doesn't matter, as the steps will be the same. Grab the handle of the side compartment in the trunk and open it. This allows you to disconnect the plugs from the headlight and remove the entire bulb assembly. By doing this, you can directly replace the bulbs. Otherwise, just remove the bolts securing the headlight and pull it out from the outside.
