The fuse location in the BMW 1 Series E87 is generally in the passenger side glove compartment. Here’s how to access the fuse box. Open the glove compartment.

Remove the damper from the lower support by pressing it forward. Release the glove compartment by pressing the two tabs and fold it down.

After replacing a fuse, push the glove compartment upwards until it clicks into place and replace the damper. The arrangement of the fuses and details on which circuits they protect are indicated in the vehicle's user and maintenance manual.
