Changing the stereo on a Buick Verano is easier than it seems. Here’s how to proceed. Start by removing the plastic trim of the center console. It is plastic and is held in place by clips, so it comes off easily. Be gentle; it is one piece and extends down to under the gear shift, where there is a screw. The entire piece comes off without any issues. Just be careful not to break it as it is quite large. At this point, the screws securing the stereo are all visible: simply remove the ones you need to change the unit. Once you have replaced the part you are interested in, just reattach the trim, tighten the single screw that holds it in place, and you’re done.
