To replace the battery in a Buick Lacrosse, open the hood to access the components inside the engine compartment. The battery is located on the right side, under the plastic cover.

By removing this cover, you can access the battery underneath, which can be disconnected from the power cables and freed from its mounting bolts. Once the device is free, you can remove it from its location and replace it with a new one. After installation, cover everything with the plastic panel.
