This guide will show you the steps to remove and replace the battery in a Buick Encore, following the instructions below. First, open the hood and start by removing the plastic battery cover.

Next, disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), as shown in the video. At this point, remove the battery bracket screw to take it out of its compartment, replacing it with the new one (of the correct type and same amperage); finally, connect and reinstall the new battery!
