Replacement of the External Door Handle on the Daewoo Matiz

Model: Chevrolet Matiz MK 1 - Years 1998-2010

This guide shows how to replace the external lock of the rear door on the Daewoo Matiz. After removing the inner door panel, use an impact screwdriver to undo the three screws located near the lock recess (on the side of the door). Using a 10 mm hex key, undo the two screws securing the handle from the inside of the door after removing the insulating material sheet. At this point, install the new handle, locking the opening rod into the designated slot on the lock. Refit the two 10 mm screws that secure the handle and the three Philips screws that secure the door locking mechanism. The tools required for this operation are: impact screwdriver; 10 mm hex key.
