How to Replace the Fuel Pump on a Daewoo Matiz Mk2

This guide shows how to replace the fuel pump on a Daewoo Matiz Mk2. First, remove the rear seat base to access the fuel pump inspection cover; simply lift the seat bases to reveal the plastic cover of the pump housing. Next, disconnect the fuel pump power cable by unplugging the connector; take care not to apply excessive force. Disconnect the two fuel lines and unscrew the retaining ring securing the pump to the tank. At this point, you can pull out the pump assembly, being cautious of any fuel leaks. Install the new pump and refit the retaining ring. Reconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connector.
