Replacing the Gear Knob on a Chevrolet Cruze

Model: Chevrolet Cruze MK 1, J300 - Years 2009-2015
Part: Shift knob

Remove the small round cover located above the gear knob (the one with the gear diagram) by prying it off with a plastic wedge or a flat-head screwdriver. Remove the small screw beneath this cover and simply pull the knob upwards. If you cannot do it by hand, use pliers. For knobs that do not come off easily and are not simply pressed on, it means they are screwed in, so you will need to unscrew them before removing them from the lever. Reverse the process for installation, pressing the new knob into place or screwing it on.
