Removing/Reinstalling the Shocks on a Chevrolet Silverado.

Before removing the front shocks on a Chevrolet Silverado, secure the vehicle on a lift or a flat surface, ensuring stability and safety. This precaution should be taken whenever performing maintenance on a vehicle to protect the operator's safety. Now, remove the front tire corresponding to the shock to be removed and open the hood. Next, unscrew the nut that secures the top of the shock, and then unscrew the bolt that secures the bottom. Use the same procedure for the rear shocks, which are located at the lower/inner part of the vehicle, near the rear axle.
