How to Change the Car Radio in a Chevrolet Sonic

To change the car radio in a Chevrolet Sonic, start by removing the outer trim panel by prying it off with a rounded pointed object. This operation exposes the mounting screws, which you can now easily remove. Disconnect the plugs, leaving them hanging from the radio compartment. Take the new radio, already housed in its metal ISO bracket, and reconnect the plugs, ensuring they fit properly into their sockets. Position any mounting brackets if the body of the new radio is smaller than the previous one, and reinsert the screws into their sockets, tightening them well. At this point, you can reposition the trim panel, pressing it into place with small taps.
