How to Change the Battery in a Chevrolet Traverse

If you need to replace the battery in this Traverse, refer to the instructions in this tutorial and the steps outlined below. The battery compartment in this vehicle is located under the floor in front of the passenger seat. To access it, lift the mat; underneath, there is a panel secured with screws that you need to remove before lifting it. Underneath, you will find the battery compartment. Disconnect the negative terminal first, then the positive. Remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, then reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative, and close the plastic panel.
