This guide shows how to replace the Chevrolet Sail Mk3 remote control shell. The first operation to be performed is to remove the logo of the car manufacturer from the back of the remote control using a small slotted screwdriver or a plastic lever. At this point it is necessary to open the bayonet key and disassemble the battery compartment access cover and remove the latter element. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the three fixing screws and uncouple the remote control grips. Remove the key opener, circuit board and encoder inductive antenna. On the new shell, install the battery protection gasket, the circuit board, the antenna and the key opening mechanism. Close the remote control and check the correct functioning of the mechanism and the circuit.
