How to Replace the Shell of the Chevrolet Sail Mk3 Remote

This guide shows how to replace the protective shell of the Chevrolet Sail Mk3 remote. The first step is to remove the automaker's logo from the back of the remote using a small flathead screwdriver or a plastic pry tool. Next, open the key fob and remove the battery cover, then take out the battery. Using a Torx screwdriver, remove the three securing screws and separate the remote's halves. Remove the key opening mechanism, the circuit board, and the inductive antenna of the encoder. On the new shell, install the battery protection gasket, the circuit board, the antenna, and the key opening mechanism. Close the remote and check the proper functioning of the mechanism and the circuit.
