How to Reset the Engine Oil Light of the Chevrolet Captiva

If you have just changed the engine oil of your Chevrolet Captiva (2006-2018 model year) but the warning light continues to illuminate steadily at each start, you need to perform the following manual reset. First, go to the driver's side and start the instrument panel if you haven't already done so. Then, press the accelerator pedal fully three times in a row, and finally, turn off the panel. At this point, the reset is successfully completed, and to confirm, simply restart the panel. If there are any errors, you can easily repeat the entire procedure.
