Operation: How do you replace the gear shift knob of a Chrysler 300?

To replace the gear shift knob of the Chrysler 300, you need to use a lever to detach the chrome ring located at the base of the knob. Once this is removed, you can unhook the clip located at the bottom that secures the knob to the shift lever. After this is also detached, you can slide the knob off from the top of the lever, allowing you to insert the new one and secure it to the appropriate clip. Finally, you can reattach the chrome ring to the base of the knob.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
