To replace the gear knob on a Chrysler 300, use a tool to pry off the chrome ring at the base of the knob. Once removed, you can detach the clip located underneath that secures the knob to the gear lever. After this is released, pull the knob off the top of the lever; this will allow you to fit the new one and secure it to the clip, reattaching the chrome ring at the base of the knob.
