This light can indeed illuminate by mistake even after having completed the regular service at an authorised centre. First, get in the car and turn on the instrument cluster, then locate and hold down the '000/Check' button located below the display of the instrument cluster. While holding down this button, switch off and then switch on the instrument cluster and wait for the reset of the light to complete.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
