Citroen Saxo - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen Saxo MK 1 - Years 1996-2004
Part: Power Steering Motor
Operation: Disassembly of the hydraulic steering box

Disconnect the battery poles and the relative fixing brackets in order to remove it from its seat. Remove the sleeves of the engine air intake system complete with filter. Immediately under the newly disassembled air duct, intercept the nuts and fixing pins of the guide box: therefore unscrew the nut in correspondence with the tie rod and the pin located immediately behind. Rotate the system to be able to disassemble the fixing pin of the jack head. At this point, remove the cross of the joint that connects the steering column to the steering box (under the pedals): once the joint has been removed, be careful not to rotate the steering wheel so as not to damage the antagonist ring (airbag tape). Finally disassemble the tie rod and the clutch cable in order to extract the box: be careful not to excessively deform the rigid oil pipes.

How do I unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series?

In order to unlock the automatic transmission of the BMW 3 Series, the Start / Stop button and the lever release button must be pressed at the same time. This procedure will allow the car gearbox to be unlocked for about 15 minutes, so that in the event of an engine failure, the car can still be moved. It may be necessary to repeat the operation more than once for its success. After unlocking the gearbox, it can return to its original state by simply waiting for the aforementioned 15 minutes, or by pushing the release lever forward for a few seconds.
