Learn how to change the gear knob on a Citroen C3 MK1: the knob is secured by simple pressure; to remove it, pull firmly upwards (as shown in the video). If you need to replace the gaiter as well, lever off the grey trim at the base of the knob to detach it. Once the trim is lifted, you will find a white ring underneath that secures the gaiter to the base. To remove the gaiter, simply unclip this white ring, and the gaiter will come off easily. Before disassembling, take note of the position of the reference notches on the ring to reassemble everything correctly. For reassembly, start with the gaiter, first with the white ring that secures it to the base, then take the new knob and push it down firmly.
