Let's see how to change the oil and filter on the Citroen C3 MK2: it is advisable to follow the example in the video and add a pre-oil change cleaner like Liqui-Moly, which can be purchased on Amazon with code B001CZSG94 for £15.05, with free next-day delivery for Prime customers.

Add the cleaner to a warm engine and let it run at idle for about 10/15 minutes.

Allow it to cool, lift the car on two axle stands, remove the undertray, and unscrew the drain bolt. Let the oil drain into a large container: dispose of the liquid at an authorised centre, along with the used filter.

Now move to the filter, located in the engine bay, and remove it from the top. Unscrew it and replace it with a new one: lubricate the filter seal with new oil. Fit the new plug and washer to the drain; replace the undertray and set the car back on level ground.

Now refill with new oil to 90% of capacity and then check with the dipstick.

Verify and add gradually, measuring each time; the level should be close to the "max" level.
