How to Change the Rear Light Bulb in a Citroen Xsara Picasso

To replace a rear light bulb on a Citroen Xsara Picasso, turn off the lights and open the boot. On the side of the affected light, open the access panel and move the carpet lining aside, then remove the foam protection behind it. Locate the metal clip that holds the light unit and press it to release the light. From the outside, gently pull the unit down and towards you until it is disengaged from the bodywork. Disconnect the electrical connector and press the tabs of the bulb holder to separate it from the light. Remove the faulty bulb, insert the new one of the same type, and reassemble the bulb holder. Reconnect the connector, reattach the light unit, and reposition the protection and carpet in the boot.
