In this video we see how to replace the gas springs on the tailgate of a Citroen Xsara Picasso: we will only need a couple of screwdrivers to do the job, and of course we would have procured the replacement part to be replaced, finding it for example on Amazon with the code B073RNTXYK, at a price of 24.49 euros per pair, including delivery: we will support the rear hood with a hydraulic jack to do the job. We release the elastic ring that connects the support strut to the bodywork, using a flat screwdriver, then we remove the gas support strut from the hood. Now we will have to install the new strut, snapping the elastic ring that connects the support strut to the gas hood.
