How to Remove the Rear Shock Absorber from a Citroen Xsara Picasso

Before starting, lift the rear of your Citroen Xsara Picasso. Begin by loosening and removing the bolts that secure the rear wheel to the hub, then remove the wheel itself. Next, relieve the tension on the shock absorber by lifting the base, then unscrew and remove the bolts that attach the shock absorber to the hub support and the chassis. This will free the shock absorber. At this point, you can remove it. Once you have removed the rear shock absorber from your Citroen Xsara Picasso, you will have completed the disassembly.
