Replacing the air filter on a 2017 Citroen Cactus should be done every 15,000 to 20,000 miles. To carry out the replacement, open the front bonnet and unscrew the bolts securing the cover of the box using a 10mm spanner. Disconnect the air duct hose and open the filter box. Clean the interior and insert the new filter; close the cover and reconnect the air duct hose, then finish by tightening the bolts on the cover. Close the front bonnet to test the filter's operation; if the filter has been installed incorrectly, a noise will be heard from the engine.
