Keeping the engine air filter clean and efficient is important to ensure the engine receives the right airflow, benefiting both performance and fuel consumption. The engine air filter box (Air Box) is located just above the engine at the rear. Once the plastic cover is removed, undo the three screws securing the cover and disconnect the intake duct, where the mass airflow sensor is located, then lift the cover to extract the old filter. Ensure there are no dirt residues in the box and insert the new filter, ensuring the seal is correctly seated before refitting the cover.
