Once the air filter is removed, the EGR valve is visible behind the engine. In this version, the valve is pneumatic, not electronic. Detach the bracket connecting the EGR to the radiator and push it to the left to avoid obstruction, then remove the electrical connector (or the vacuum hose in this case). Unscrew the bolts and detach the clamp securing the EGR pipe, extract the valve, and retrieve the metal gasket. Now prepare the new valve found on eBay with code 127621402842 at a price of £60.20, with free delivery. Clean the seat, fit the gasket, insert the valve, re-screw the bolts, reattach the clamp, reconnect the connector, and remount the bracket. Position the fuel filter, reconnect the hoses and connector, air filter, and cover.
