Replacing Valve Stem Seals

When performing a repair that requires the removal of the cylinder head, it is good practice to replace the valve stem seals, which act as oil seals. To replace them, you need to remove the valves by compressing the return springs with a specific arch clamp and detaching the half-shells to free the valve stems. Once the valve is removed, extract the old seal, clean the seat, and lubricate it with clean oil to insert the new seal using the appropriate tool. Then, reverse the process to install the valve by compressing the spring and reattaching the half-shells.
