Replacing the Camshaft Oil Seal

When performing engine maintenance that requires the disassembly and removal of gaskets and oil seals, it is always advisable to replace them with new ones during the assembly phase. In particular, the application of the camshaft oil seal requires the use of a fitting tool for its insertion. Ensure there are no dirt residues in the oil seal seat, lubricate the seat and the new oil seal with clean oil, insert the oil seal with the lip facing inwards, and press it in until it is fully seated using the fitting tool, taking care not to deform it.
