Replacing Exhaust Manifold Gasket

If you need to replace the exhaust manifold gasket, first clean the surfaces thoroughly to remove any residue that could compromise the gasket's seal. Then apply the new gasket (it consists of two metal elements due to the high temperatures involved) and the corresponding manifold; finally, tighten the fixing nuts using a torque wrench (excessive torque could damage the studs) and apply a new gasket at the joint between the manifold and the exhaust pipe.
