Replacing Valve Cover Gasket

To replace the valve cover gasket, start with a thorough cleaning of the gasket seat, both under the cover and on the cylinder head, to remove any dirt residue. Once cleaning is complete, insert the new gasket into the groove along the edge of the cover and, without applying sealant, position the cover on the cylinder head, tightening the securing bolts with a torque wrench in a cross pattern to ensure the gasket adheres perfectly.
