How to Replace the Key Battery on a DS3

Is the key battery dead and unusable? Let's see how to change it in this video. Take your remote and use a metal lever to detach the cover. Pry it open until the plastic cover separates, then extract the dead battery with a screwdriver, and get a new one of the same size and voltage. Refit the cover onto the key remote until you hear it click into place. Finally, insert the metal key into the remote. Check that the remote functions correctly with the buttons on it.
