Is the shift knob broken? Let's see how to change the gear knob on C3. Disconnect the frame of the leather cap with a plastic lever (if to be replaced). We take the knob in our hands and rotate it to the left and right until it is removed from the shift rod. We mount the frame under the new leather cap with the clips (if disassembled), then, take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel until it is tightened in the rod. We lower the cover over the lever until the frame fits into the central tunnel. We check that we have assembled all the gearbox parts well.
