Citroen Xsara Picasso - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen Xsara Picasso MK 1 - Years 1999-2012
Part: Coolant temperature sensor
Operation: How to replace the temperature sensor of a Citroen Xsara Picasso

In order to do this, I recommend that you first of all empty the cooling system. Before we can start, we will have to go and open the front hood of our Citroen Xsara Picasso. The coolant temperature sensor is located on the lower right side of the engine crankcase. So let's start by removing the relative external clip, helping us if desired with a small slotted screwdriver. After that, we can go to extract the sensor, then disconnect the relative plug, and we will have finished the disassembly. To mount the new sensor and close everything, you simply have to follow these instructions in reverse, and we will have finished the replacement.

How to reset the service in the Opel Antara?

As we can see in this tutorial, resetting the service in the Opel Antara is an extremely simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, of course, we must have completed all the planned maintenance work. We start by inserting the key but leaving it in the initial position, after which we keep the accelerator pedal fully depressed and at the same time turn on the instrument panel, not the engine. At this point, we release the accelerator and press it 3 consecutive times, always all the way. We then restart the panel to verify that the procedure has been carried out correctly.
