How to Replace the Temperature Sensor on a Citroen Xsara Picasso

Model: Citroen Xsara Picasso MK 1 - Years 1999-2012
Part: Engine coolant temperature sensor

To carry out this operation, I recommend first draining the cooling system. Before you can start, open the front bonnet of your Citroen Xsara Picasso. The coolant temperature sensor is located on the lower right side of the engine block. Start by removing the relevant external clip, using a small flathead screwdriver if necessary. Next, extract the sensor, disconnect the corresponding connector, and you will have completed the disassembly. To install the new sensor and close everything up, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and you will have completed the replacement.
