Before we can start, we will have to go and open the front hood of our Citroen C4. So let's start by disengaging and removing the top engine cover. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew the bolts and screws that secure the air filter assembly, and then remove the air filter assembly itself, along with its sleeves. By doing so, we will have reached the thermostat of the car. We then proceed by disconnecting the sleeves connected to the thermostat, loosening the relative metal clamps. When we have completed this step, we will have to go and remove the temperature sensor, simply by disengaging it. Once we have removed the sensor, we can go to unscrew and remove the thermostat bolts, and then remove the thermostat itself, and we will have finished the disassembly. To mount the new thermostat and close everything, we will simply have to repeat these steps in reverse, and we will have finished the replacement.
