Removing the thermostat on a Citroen C4? We remove the thermostat from inside the engine compartment if it is damaged. We open and lift the front hood. We remove the engine cover panel for convenience, disassemble the air filter and various hoses to access the thermostat. We locate the thermostat and disconnect the hose clamps placed on them. We unscrew the locking pins of the thermostat with a socket wrench. We remove the damaged piece from inside the engine compartment. We assemble the new piece with the connection of the coolant circulation pipes and with the attached tightening screws. We turn on the vehicle and test the new part.
