Removing the Thermostat on Citroen C4

Model: Citroen C4 MK 1 - Years 2004-2010

Remove the front cover bonnet and uncover the engine from its soundproofing panel. Locate the thermostat securing screws. Unscrew the bolts on either side of the thermostat (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets), pull off the sealing cap, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, close the compartment with the cap, and securely tighten the bolts with all their parts. Finally, top up with the new coolant.
