Removing the Thermostat on Citroen C4

Remove the front cover bonnet and uncover the engine from its soundproofing panel. Locate the thermostat securing screws.

Unscrew the bolts on either side of the thermostat (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets), pull off the sealing cap, and extract the coolant thermostat from its housing. Once the part is removed, replace it with a new one, close the compartment with the cap, and securely tighten the bolts with all their parts.

Finally, top up with the new coolant.
