How to Change the Air Filter on a Citroen C4 MK1 1.4 16V

Learn how to change the air filter on a Citroen C4 MK1 1.4 16V: this component is located in the engine bay, on the passenger side, inside a black box. With the engine off, detach the rubber cover from the intake manifold pipes, unlock and remove the manifold duct, and disconnect the air intake duct from the box. Inside, there is a large black plastic component that you will need to remove. Also, move the brake fluid reservoir by unscrewing the two screws that hold it in place, without disconnecting the pipes. Now you can remove the cover of the air box by unscrewing the four screws that secure the cover. Remove the old filter, clean the housing from dust and debris, insert the new filter, and then close the cover with its four screws. Reposition the box, reconnect all ducts, replace the brake fluid reservoir, reconnect the manifold duct and the rubber cover. Job done.
