How to bleed the brake fluid on a Citroen C4

In this video, we will see how to bleed the brake fluid of a Citroen C4: let's open the hood and locate the brake fluid reservoir, which is found on the top of the monoblock; we will open it and remove the filter inside, then we will drain the fluid using a pump. After that, we will replace the filter and refill it with clean fluid. The bleeding must be done in a specific order, starting from the driver's side front wheel, then the passenger side front wheel, followed by the passenger side rear wheel, and finally the driver's side rear wheel. We will need to lift each side, remove the wheel, and access the bleed valve—which is located on the brake caliper—where we will place a large container underneath to collect the fluid that will come out (which we will then dispose of properly at an authorized center). The bleed valve may be rusty, so we will spray some WD-40 on it, then attach a wrench and a polyethylene tube. We will need a helper to press the brake pedal: we will open the bleed valve to allow the brake fluid to escape, and then close it before air can re-enter the system. We will repeat this until there is no more air in the system and the brake fluid (which will be topped off as we go) is clean. Finally, we will clean the caliper with brake cleaner. We will then reassemble the wheel and move on to the next one.
