How to Replace a Front Shock Absorber on a CITROEN C3

To remove the front bumper of a Citroen C3, clean the fastening devices of the upper shock absorber mount with a brush and use WD-40 spray. Loosen the upper shock absorber fastening using a 22 mm spanner, then undo the wheel bolts with a socket. Next, clean the fastening element of the driveshaft with a wire brush using the spray again, then detach it with a chisel. Now undo the wheel bolts and disconnect the brake cable and pipe from the shock absorber and the fastening device with a spanner. Use the brush and spray to clean all components. Remove the driveshaft. Disconnect the hub from the shock absorber and the suspension strut, then install the spring and mount it in the wheel arch. Secure the mounting bolts, driveshaft, and other components. Treat the surfaces with copper grease and refit the wheel.
