Citroen Saxo - Video tutorial

Model: Citroen Saxo MK 1 - Years 1996-2004
Part: Engine
Operation: Valve stem cylinder seal maintenance

Replacing the valve stem seals is an operation that requires some knowledge of mechanics and maintenance. Each gasket on both the right and left is always replaced in the same way. Remove dirt and grease residues with a cloth and rags. The cylinder head cover and the exhaust rehabilitation unit should be removed. Once this has been done, the extractor can be taken and applied to the valve stem seal, with a rotating and sliding movement. The mounting sleeve is then inserted in order to facilitate the extraction of the stem seal.

How to activate the cruise control of the Nissan Qashqai

Let's see how the cruise control is activated on the Nissan Qashqai: you have to activate it by putting the cruise control switch to "on", then, using only the right spoke of the steering wheel, press the "set-" button, then the "res +" button also on the right spoke of the steering wheel and the cruise control indicator lights up on the car's instrument panel display. If the brake pedal is pressed while the cruise control is in operation or if the "cancel" button on the right spoke of the steering wheel is pressed, the cruise control will automatically deactivate and the cruise control indicator on the instrument panel will go out.
