Adjustment of Handbrake Lever Travel

Model: Citroen C3 FC, FN - Years 2002-2009

If the handbrake lever lifts excessively when activated, making more than six or seven clicks, you need to adjust the travel to compensate for the wear of the shoes. Remove the plastic trim around the handbrake lever, locate the adjustment nut on the side at the rear of the lever, and with the handbrake lever released, tighten the nut until the lever rises by three or four clicks at most. After adjustment, reposition the plastic trim around the lever, snapping it back into place.
