To replace the gear selector cables on a Citroën C3, lift the gear gaiter and remove the corresponding knob. This will allow you to detach the clips securing the centre console, which can then be removed. Underneath, you will find the gear selector cables that need to be disconnected. To disconnect the other end, open the bonnet and disconnect it there. Once the old cables are removed, insert and connect the new ones; finally, cover everything by reinstalling the centre console and the gear knob.
