How to Remove the Battery from the Citroen C3 Picasso

Model: Citroen C3 Picasso MK 1 - Years 2008-2017

Once you have opened the bonnet of your Citroen C3 Picasso, locate the battery on the right side; disconnect the negative terminal and remove the connections from the control unit, as well as the plastic cover. Disconnect the positive terminal using a large flat screwdriver. Remove the cover of the control unit and then the control unit itself, which is positioned right next to the battery and restricts movement. Remove all electrical connectors. If necessary, take a photo to ensure you reconnect them in the correct order. At this point, you can unscrew the bolts holding the battery in place, which will come out easily. To reinstall it, simply retrace your steps in reverse.
