The fact is, it looks very unsightly. But there is a method to repair it. First, we need to remove the seat from its housing, then we need to obtain a piece of foam to replace the damaged one. With a bit of patience and following the video, we remove the upholstery from the back of the seat, remove the damaged part of the foam, mercilessly, until we reach the healthy part. Here, we can attach the new piece using a spray adhesive. To make it adhere well and give it the right shape, we will temporarily hold it in place with tape. Once it has adhered perfectly and taken the correct shape, we can put the upholstery back in place and then reinsert the seat into the car. Job done.
