How to Change the Oil on a Citroen C3

In this video, you will learn how to change the engine oil and filter on a Citroen C3: the engine should be moderately warm, raise the vehicle at the front and position a container to collect the used oil under the sump: you will then dispose of this oil properly at an authorised disposal centre. While the sump is draining, remove the filter: you will need to remove the air ducts to access the filter using a 27 mm socket. Extract the filter from the housing into a container, as you will also lose oil here. Clean the housing and replace the o-ring, which you will have lubricated with clean oil. Reposition the filter in the housing and put it back in place, reassembling the air ducts. Go under the vehicle and close the drain plug, which must always be replaced along with its gasket; lower the vehicle and refill the engine oil from above. You will need a total of 3.75 litres, but start by pouring in only 3 litres, then check the dipstick and make the necessary adjustments. Refit the plug and run the engine for a few minutes. Check the level again. Task completed.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
