How to Replace Front Discs and Pads on the Citroen Xsara Picasso

In this video, see how to replace the front discs and pads on the Citroen Xsara Picasso: open the bonnet to access the brake fluid reservoir, then lift the front of the car and remove both front wheels. Remove the brake caliper by retracting the piston, and rest it on one of the shock absorber springs; take out the pads and clean the support. Now proceed to remove the cover and then the disc; clean the hub thoroughly with a wire brush and lubricate it with copper grease. Before installing the new disc, clean it with brake cleaner and absorbent paper to remove any wax; insert the disc and refit the cover and then the caliper, lubricate the new pads with copper grease and place them in position, close the caliper, and now you can refit the wheels and lower the vehicle back to the ground.
