How to Change the Front Brake Discs on the Citroen Xsara Picasso

To replace the front brake pads and discs, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel; then unscrew the retaining bolts of the brake caliper to remove it and extract the old pads; detach the caliper bracket and the fixing screw of the disc on the hub; brush the seating and clean the disc of protective oil before installing it; refit the caliper bracket, retract the piston using a suitable clamp, and insert the new pads while remounting the caliper; pay particular attention during the initial braking.
