How to Change the Front Brake Pads on a Citroen C1

On the Citroen C1, start by lifting the car and removing the front wheel. The video shows the loosening of the bolts and then the removal of the wheel to access the caliper and disc. Before working on the caliper, pay attention to the brake fluid reservoir in the engine compartment, as the level may rise when the piston retracts. The guide pins are unscrewed, and the caliper is lifted to access the pads. Remove the old pads and view the new set before installation. At this point, on the Citroen C1, slowly push the piston back using a tool until there is enough space to accommodate the thickness of the new pads. Position the new pads in the same location as the old ones, then refit the caliper, securing and tightening the fixings.
