In this very useful video tutorial, we will see step by step the procedure to replace the battery (CR2032) of the remote control of a latest generation Cupra vehicle (Leon, Formentor, and Ateca). So let's start the operation by immediately pressing the emergency physical key button and then removing it from its slot as shown in the video, then we use the key just removed to leverage the back cover of the remote control to remove it. Once this is done, with the help of a small screwdriver, we can remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, and finally close everything following the reverse procedure.
