How to Set the Automatic Time Zone on Seat and Cupra Vehicles

On Seat and Cupra cars (like the Cupra Formentor in the video), even if the time setting is on "automatic", the time zone does not update automatically when travelling abroad, remaining fixed on the manually selected time zone, requiring manual adjustment each time. The solution is to activate the time zone change alert, a function that, once activated, will use GPS data to automatically adjust the time and time zone in foreign countries. Tap the "settings" icon on the multimedia screen, then go to "system" and select "date and time" which we will configure as follows: the time source must be set to "automatic" and "automatic daylight saving time setting" to "enabled". Time zone: it should become "non-selectable" and appear greyed out. After setting the previous points, the option "time zone change alert" should appear in the menu: we will activate this function by toggling the switch to "ON".
